the MAIN ROOM
The main downstairs room is raw plaster and bare wood & ply natural space that can be booked furnished or as a down to earth blank canvas ready for your event. It is insulated, sound proofed and centrally heated. It has eco cork flooring, antique rustic benches, lots of throws and sheepskins, and holds around up to 12 lying down, or many more sitting. There are large bifold glass doors across the entire front wall of the room that fold fully open facing east over a wild garden and 3 silver birches. This is a beautiful peaceful room with great acoustics. It is partly covered by the mezzanine and has plank wood stairs to one side.
the ROSE ROOM (Goddess Space)
Upstairs you will find the Rose Circle room with Goddess altar, sheepskins, wood burner & selenite crystal water fountain, with space for around 8 in circle and a couple of day beds. The rose room has a tin roof, so it is noisy in the rain, and on hot mid-summer days the rose room is too hot to use in the day time but gorgeous in the evening. In winter it is very cosy as there is log burner as well as gas central heating. This space has been used for goddess temple ceremonies and holds a sacred energy and is reserved for those who respect the Goddess ways.
the MEZZANINE
Upstairs overlooking the main room is a small mezzanine area with sofa and king bed for daytime relaxing and/or sleeping
the MAIN BEDROOM
This simple bedroom is downstairs behind the main room, and it has a more rustic glamping feel with bare concrete floor, jute rugs, a super king velvet bed and Indian day beds
the OTHER rooms
Downstairs the rose barn also has a small well equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. The water is sourced from an underground spring.
the OUTSIDE
The rose barn is in its own private wild garden in the countryside. Once a sculptor's studio, sitting on the concrete deck next to the polished marble sculpture of a cumulus cloud, you overlook the wild garden rich in bird song with 3 silver birch, some space for camping and a fire area.
The rose barn is part of a family home on private land with shared parking, in a small hamlet of a few houses in the countryside. there are neighbours with a smallholding & chickens in the adjoining field. It is down an off-road easy drive-able track. it is very private and you do not have to see anyone if you want total privacy but there are people & houses around.

This tiny hamlet is about quiet living nature lovers and next to a family home, and it is not a party den So please no loud music without prior permission (kirtan etc).
-
The barn is in a tiny hamlet with a couple of houses nearby. You have complete privacy with your own private garden, and you will not see anyone unless you want to but you may hear people at times on the next door small holding, walking or driving their 4x4 along the track behind the barn on the green lane to attend to bees, veg, load logs and feed chickens etc
-
The upstairs temple space has a tin roof this means it gets very hot on hot summer days (gorgeous in the evening) and when it rains it makes a loud noise (which some people love)
-
Usually at night is is very quiet, but very occasional nights when it is very still with alot of moisture in the air, outside only you can hear a faint buzz in the distance from a sub station a couple of miles away
-
The barn is away from the road and up a small green private lane. The driveway is shared with the Barn owners and there is space for 5 extra cars (so for more people, lift sharing needs to be organised and I can recommend nearby parking spots for this)
-
